Our Story
Our Story Begins From a Simple Recipe
What started as a homemade chili garlic shared during family meals quickly became everyone’s favorite. Our family loves to eat, and with chili garlic, we enjoyed our meals even more. Eventually, we shared it with friends and they loved it too. That’s when we realized: this wasn’t just a recipe … it is something special!​​​
For nearly two decades, Mom (Dei) poured her heart into her IT career. But when that chapter suddenly ended, it became a turning point. Rather than chasing the security of her old high-paying career, she decided to take a different path. At the same time, more and more people were asking for and couldn’t get enough of our chili garlic. That’s when we recognized the opportunity to turn it into a business.
​We formed IBARRA'S in June 2024, secured the necessary licenses and permits, then we officially began selling at Farmers Market in October 2024. With no background in food production, we had to learn everything from scratch, from health permits, from food safety to labeling and packaging, business management, and a lot more.
From IBARRA Street to Your Table
IBARRA'S is named after the street in the Philippines here our home is situated. It's the place where our family’s love for cooking began, a home filled with the smell of simmering dishes and the sound of shared laughter. It’s a tribute to our roots and the place that started it all.

Now, we wanted to bring those same flavors, not only to Texans, but to all people everywhere.
Who would have thought that what started as a simple homemade recipe will grow into something bigger. We are now sharing IBARRA’S at farmers markets, local stores, restaurants, and big e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Walmart Marketplace. While our chili garlic remains our flagship product, we’re excited to bring more gourmet products to your table soon. Each jar tells the story of where we began and where we’re headed.
Our dream is simple: to share that taste of home with families everywhere.
